Group #arttherapy activity - making a #mandala tog Group #arttherapy activity - making a #mandala together, one slice for each person, the finished slice can work alone or in the full circle. The mandala in art therapy can be used as a self-calming and self-centring tool. The mandala can also be used to contain powerful and difficult emotions, it is a circular design that has been used since ancient times to invoke the spirit of healing. Thanks to @arthelps.ca for creating this one for our group.

When working with young children who are dealing w When working with young children who are dealing with #familiesintransition I like to introduce them to different types of changes. Sometimes it’s hard for children to grasp the concept of forever change. I understand the assignment as follows; do something nice for yourself with intention. The key is “with intention”. Taking the time to treat ourselves with the respect we deserve.

The bonus on #juicing as #selfcare is that I can get my kids to drink their #veggies so really it’s a #winWin for everyone.

Take the time to treat yourself to something…it does wonders for your #mentalhealth whatever it may be.
